Terms of service

What you are buying, what we are responsible for, and what we are not.

Last updated October 3, 2026

1. What we are

We are a medical tourism facilitator. We are not a healthcare provider and we do not practise medicine. The examinations you buy are performed by independently licensed Korean medical institutions, which are responsible for the medical acts they carry out and for the medical records they create.

Our own obligations are the ones we describe on this site: assembling and pricing the package, arranging and confirming appointments, providing interpreting, procuring a human medical translation of your results, producing the written summary, and the aftercare period stated on the package page.

2. Formation of the contract and price

The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email after successful payment. Prices shown include everything listed on the package page and exclude everything listed as not included. Prices are in euros and are charged in euros.

If a biopsy taken during an endoscopy generates histology beyond what your package includes, we will quote it to you before it is carried out and will not add it to your invoice without your agreement.

3. Your obligations

  • Complete the medical intake truthfully. Several packages have contraindications — implants, contrast allergy, pregnancy, anticoagulation — and an incomplete intake can make an examination unsafe.
  • Follow the written preparation instructions. An examination that cannot be performed because preparation was not followed cannot be repeated free of charge.
  • Arrange your own travel, insurance and accommodation unless the package states otherwise.
  • Do not stop prescribed medication on our instruction. Discuss any change with your own prescriber.

4. What we do not promise

  • We do not promise a diagnosis, a particular finding, or that a screening will detect every disease. No screening test has perfect sensitivity, and a normal result is not a guarantee of health.
  • We do not promise insurance reimbursement. We provide an itemised invoice; the decision belongs to your insurer.
  • We do not promise that a specific clinic, device or physician will be used, unless we have confirmed it to you in writing.
  • We do not provide medical advice through this website, by email or on a video call. Our medical coordinator explains your results; they do not replace your treating physician.

5. Liability

We are liable for our own services — coordination, interpreting, translation and the summary — with the care of a professional provider. We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law does not permit limitation.

We are not liable for the medical acts of the treating institution, which is independently licensed and independently insured. We will give you its identity, its accreditation and its insurer on request, and we will support a claim against it with the documentation we hold.

Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer in the European Union.

6. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, with the courts of Castelo Branco having jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your own country of residence. As a consumer resident in the European Union you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country, as provided by Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation and Article 18 of the Brussels I bis Regulation.

Before going to court, write to us. Most disputes in this business are misunderstandings about scope, and we would rather resolve one than win one.

This document is provided in English, Russian, Spanish and German. In case of a discrepancy, the English version governs.
